Title: My Little Editorial Corner: Where FashionTechNora Comes to Life

Modern black and white living room with floor-to-ceiling windows in a Midtown Manhattan apartment.

When I first launched FashionTechNora, I knew I wanted to create a space that reflected my love of fashion, storytelling, and creativity. Like many new creators, I was learning as I went. I even discovered that my original website wasn’t truly built on WordPress the way I thought it was, which meant starting over and rebuilding the foundation.

Looking back, I’m grateful for that lesson because it reminded me that every brand begins somewhere.

This year feels different. I made 2026 my execution year-– a season of consistency, learning, and finally executing the vision I’ve been building. Success means tiny consistent steps you take daily or weekly.

Instead of simply uploading content, I’ve made a commitment to blog with intention. Every story, photograph, and editorial is created with a purpose—to document my journey, inspire women to embrace their own style, and build something that will continue to grow year after year.

This little place in my living room in front of the window has quietly become part of that story.

While my apartment is still being updated, this chair has become my editorial space. It’s where I write blog posts, edit photos, plan Pinterest content, and map out ideas before they make their way onto FashionTechNora.

My Blogging Journey

Instead of using expensive studio equipment or traditional white backdrops, I simply drape a soft white fuzzy throw over the chair to create texture and a more editorial feel. It’s proof that beautiful images don’t require a perfect setup—they require vision and consistency. As you can see, I’m using an actual ring light from Amazon. In my earlier blog posts you can clearly see that I was taking product photos over the white throw. Started from the bottom, now I’m here. 🙂

One of the things I’m learning about blogging is that it isn’t about waiting until everything is finished. Sometimes you begin while your home is still evolving, while you’re searching for your next career opportunity, or while you’re figuring things out one step at a time. As someone like myself, my background is in fashion, marketing and e-commerce. You don’t a perfect place , you just need a space. Maybe blogging before or after work. Maybe on weekends. Maybe you have 1-2 hours a week. I started so many blog posts with the title only. Or, I have the message but I want a catchy title.

It also takes time to learn SEO, keywords, tags, alt text, and how Pinterest and blogging work together.

That’s what this space represents.

When I look back a year from now, I hope this post reminds me where it all started—not because this chair or this apartment will stay the same, but because this was the season I chose consistency over perfection.

Have you ever wanted to start a blog? I hope this post reminds you that you don’t need the perfect space or the perfect timing to begin. Sometimes all you need is a place to start.

FashionTechNora is growing one blog post, one photograph, and one story at a time. And I can’t wait to see where this year’s journey leads. More lessons. More learning. More consistency.

XOXO,

Nora
